About me

I grew up in Brussels, where preparing and sharing good food is woven into the city’s culture. Every summer, my parents would bundle my three siblings and me into the car and drive across Europe, discovering new flavours in local tavernas and wandering through bustling food markets.

At home, mealtimes were always the centre of family life. My mum – an exceptional cook – made everything from scratch, and she passed her love of cooking and entertaining straight on to me.

Today, my husband, little boy, and I carry on that tradition. No matter how busy the day has been, we sit down together for a comforting home-cooked meal. Cooking and eating as a family is one of our favourite rituals, especially when we’re hosting long, lazy meals with friends and loved ones.

I graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2007 with a BSc (Hons) in Biology. Alongside my studies, I cooked for a busy café and loved seeing customers enjoy the food I created. I went on to complete a PGCE(M) in Secondary Science and began my career teaching biology in Norwich.

  • BSc (Hons) Biology, University of East Anglia
  • PGCE(M) Secondary Sciences, University of East Anglia
  • Diploma (Distinction), Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching
  • Certified Child Sleep Practitioner (Level 6 completion due July 2026), London School of Childcare studies
  • Ongoing CPD – most recently, The Child Feeding Guide for Health Professionals via Loughborough University, completed April 2026

A move to Bath opened the door to an exciting role as Food & Nutrition Lecturer at the world-renowned Norland College. There, I wrote and delivered a three-year nutrition and cookery programme for trainee nannies, covering topics such as weaning, fussy eating, meal planning, cooking for diabetics and coeliacs, family nutrition, and — most importantly — making cooking simple and enjoyable for all ages.

After my time at Norland, I completed a Diploma in Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching and established myself as a freelance nutrition advisor for families. I now run group and 1:1 workshops, both online and in person, focusing on fussy eating, family mealtimes, and practical nutrition support. I regularly collaborate with the Bath & Bristol Parenting Hub, delivering workshops as part of their eight-week Triple P parenting programme.

I’ve also been invited to speak at London Foodstock and Battersea Park’s Big Playout, offering talks and drop-in sessions for parents and carers seeking guidance around children’s eating habits.

Alongside my freelance work, I teach at The Bath Cookery Studio, where I share my passion for the joy and wellbeing that comes from cooking from scratch.

At the time of writing (May 2026), I am near completion of a Level 6 Sleep Practitioner qualification with the London School of Childcare Studies. Diet and sleep are so closely connected that many of my clients naturally ask for support with their children’s sleep. I will therefore soon be offering sleep management techniques as part of my service. As a parent myself, I know just how precious a good night’s sleep can be.
